An incredible Neoclassical silvered bronze scrolled arms chandelier with cut crystal ornaments.

Like you probably already know I am are looking for new pieces everyday. I sometime come across the most beautiful pieces by chance. In this case, I found this incredible piece while actually looking into an antique dealer inventory. While my attention was captured by the actual ceiling fixtures above my head, I've hit by accident this neoclassical chandelier without any of his crystal, laying on the ground full of dust and oxidation. It must have been there for years and no one ever imagine what it could actually look like once all cleaned, gently polished and completely restored. I knew though, here it is with 2 days of labour and lots of love !
The silvered bronze needs to be restored delicately and with care. If the approach is too harsh the original silveplated finish will be strongly affected or even worst, it could be ruined. I personally believe that the results that I've obtained on the finish is truly a miracle and I am more than happy with the results !
The chandelier has been professionally restored, rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation.
We took a special care in the restoration process by hand waxing all the components to revive the finish and protect these valuable pieces for the years to come.
We are using the museum quality Renaissance micro-crystalline wax on all of our restoration projects.
DIMENSIONS with the shade installed
Height: 25" inches (0 cm).
Width: 20" inches (0 cm).
Depth: 20" inches (0 cm).
CONDITION
The chandelier is in good condition with very minor loss on his silvered bronze finish. One of the acanthus leaf ornaments shows a minor sign of verdigris which could not be removed at this stage. Please refer carefully to the pictures.
